Dicentra Exima (Papaveraceae) - Bleeding heart

My favorite from the bleeding heart genus. Unlike the showier species, this version keeps it’s beautiful blue green, deeply cut  foliage that persists all summer long. The small, pink flowers come on in the spring with a large flush and continue here and there through the summer with another flush when the weather cools in the fall. A topnotch perennial with a lovely presence all season.
