Marrubium Vulgare (Labiatae)

White horehound is a bitter, aromatic herb that has been used by humans for thousands of years. Called ‘seed of Horus’ in ancient Egypt. It grows 1-2 ft. in well drained soil with small crinkled leaves and small white flowers in whorls. Horehound drops are still sold as a candy and cough suppressant. Contains a powerful anti-viral.
