A vining plant that can grow up to 6 ft with pea-like flowers in shades of white and pink that have no scent unlike their annual cousins. Considered a weed in warmer climates, and it does drop seed around, but not so weedy in zone 4. Can make a nice Summer screen and cut flower, give it plenty of room and a strong trellis. One of the flowers grown by Jefferson in his famous gardens at Monticello.
