Also known as Masterwort, this native of Europe and Western Asia, grows in meadows and woodland clearings preferring a moist cool soil. Plants grow in mounding clumps of cut, palmate leaves that remain green all season. The compound umbels (it’s related to carrots) sit atop wiry stems from summer into early fall. Often reblooms well if cut back after first bloom. This will also help to keep reseeding to a minimum. Makes a great cut flower that also dries nicely. Likes a sunny, well drained location.
