Related to chamomile, golden marguerite, forms 2 ft mounds of lacy, fragrant, foliage with lemon yellow 1-2 in. flowers that can bloom all Summer into Fall. Nice cut flower. Can tolerate poor, infertile soil. A hardy bordering plant that likes full sun. The term tinctoria, which comes up in the plant world, refers to its use as a dyeing plant. The flowers of anthemis yield a yellow dye that was used to color wool.
