Anemone (Ranunculaceae) - Windflower

A large genus of plants with many beautiful garden worthy species. We carry two, the sylvestris which is low growing with sharply cut leaves and beautiful white, aromatic flowers in the spring that often reflower as the weather cools in the fall. Thrives in sun to part shade and spreads nicely in a sunny, open woodland garden. We also carry the hupehensis species which is taller and flowers in the fall with beautiful pink and purple flowers that rise above the foliage on wiry stems. Also grows well in a sunny, woodland garden.
