Bunias Orientalis (Brassicaceae) Turkish rocket

A perennial member of the cabbage family, it is known as Turkish rocket or warty cabbage. It comes up early providing spring steaming greens and when it begins to flower the stalks and flowers can be steamed like a raab. It’s leaves come back again when the weather cools again in the fall. Easy and hardy, grow in full sun and moist soil.Cut seed heads to manage spread.
