Crambe Maritima (Brassicaceae) - Sea kale

A native to the beaches of Britain and Ireland, sea kale is a nice ornamental, and an interesting edible perennial. In spring, it’s glaucous, collard-like leaves come up providing an early edible green. In Early summer it puts up a flower stalk that can be used like a broccoli raab. Finally, it flowers into a spray of ornamental white, baby breath-like flowers. Being a beach plant it thrives in poor gravelly soil.
