Tanacetum Parthenium (Asteraceae)
Feverfew is another plant that people have used medicinally for a long time with references going back to the Greek herbalists. It is a strongly scented 18 in. bush of light green, pinnate leaves and covered with small daisy like flowers that make nice additions to a bouquet. Full sun, and average, well drained soil. A tea from the leaves is a traditional relaxant and chewing on the bitter leaves has been found to prevent migraines. It is also a good digestive! What’s not to love about this plant.
