Asparagus Verticillatus (Liliaceae) - Vining Asparagus

An ornamental variety of asparagus from Siberia. A twining vine to 15 ft with narrow 2 in. leaves, and covered with red berries in the Fall. The small purple shoots can be eaten like it’s tastier cousin. A beautiful and unique plant. Likes sun, and rich, well drained soil.
