Papaver Nudicaule (Papaveraceae)

Iceland poppies are an incredibly hardy species that grows wild in parts of Alaska and Canada. Flowers in shades of orange, pink, red, yellow and white over a very long period starting in May making a wonderful cut flower. Though not particularly long lived it reseeds nicely and can create a nice stand.
